Ann Curry

Ann Curry, an American photojournalist and journalist who has been covering wars and natural disasters for nearly 45 years. Her focus is on the human suffering suffered by people who live in these places. Ashland was her last high school. The broadcasting profession began with an internship with KTVL Channel 10 Medford in Oregon. When she was 22, she was the first female journalist for the station. In Portland the state of Oregon, she was appointed anchor as well as a reporter for KGW the NBC affiliate. After four years, she relocating into Los Angeles as a reporter for KBS-TV.
